Details

Rebond + Perm, also known as "hair rebonding with perm" or "rebonding perm," is a combination of two hair treatments: hair rebonding and hair perming. It involves straightening the hair with a hair rebonding treatment and then adding curls or waves through a hair perming process.

Features & Benefits:

Hair assessment
The hairstylist assesses the hair's texture, condition, and history to determine if it is suitable for both the rebonding and perming processes.

Hair cleansing
The hair is washed and dried to ensure it is clean and free of any styling products or residue.

Hair rebonding
The hair is treated with a rebonding cream or relaxer to break down the natural bonds in the hair's protein structure. The hairstylist uses a flat iron to straighten the hair strands, aligning them in a sleek and smooth manner.

Applying perm solution
After the hair has been rebonded, the stylist applies a perm solution to create curls or waves in the hair. The perm solution breaks and rearranges the hair's disulfide bonds to create the desired curl pattern.

Curling or winding the hair
The hair is wrapped around perm rods or curling tools to set the curls or waves.

Neutralizing
Once the desired processing time is complete, a neutralizer or bonding lotion is applied to re-form the hair's bonds in their new curled or waved shape.

Final styling
After the neutralizing process, the perm rods or curlers are removed, and the curls or waves are revealed. The hairstylist may then style the hair further based on the client's preference.
